Move Sidepanel to Left

Arcify works best when the sidepanel is positioned on the left side of your browser.

How to change sidepanel position:

  1. Go to Chrome Settings (⋮ menu > Settings)
  2. Click on "Appearance" in the sidebar
  3. Scroll down to "Side panel position"
  4. Select "Show on left"

Note: This option might not be available in all Chromium-based browsers like Edge and Comet.

Set Up Keyboard Shortcuts

Configure keyboard shortcuts to quickly access Arcify features from anywhere in your browser.

How to set up keyboard shortcuts:

  1. Open Chrome Extensions page (chrome://extensions/)
  2. Find Arcify in the list of extensions
  3. Click on "Details" for Arcify
  4. Scroll down to "Keyboard shortcuts"
  5. Click "Configure" next to "Toggle side panel"
  6. Set your preferred shortcut (e.g., Cmd/Ctrl + A)
  7. Click "Save" to apply the changes

Recommended Shortcuts:

  • 🔍 Spotlight: Cmd/Ctrl + T
  • 📌 Quick Pin/Unpin: Cmd/Ctrl + D

Enable Tab Archiving

Tab archiving helps you keep your workspace clean by automatically moving inactive tabs to an archive.

How tab archiving works:

  • ✅ Inactive tabs are automatically moved to archive after a period of inactivity
  • ✅ Archived tabs can be restored anytime from the archive section
  • ✅ You can configure the period of inactivity to archive tabs
